The village of Tequesta is located along the Atlantic Ocean's blue waters on Highway 1 in northern Palm Beaches. It was named after the Tequesta people, a small Native American tribe that was the first to settle in South Florida. In 1955, Tequesta was only a dream, but today it is one of the premier waterfront communities in the country. This neighborhood is home to a variety of shops, boutiques, and churches.
